UV light can effectively reduce the growth of microbes in the water. UV radiation with a wavelength of 254 nanometers kills bacteria, viruses, algae and fungi, destroying the DNA of microorganisms. Disinfection with UV light is applicable to almost all types of water. The product range Eurowater includes several UV disinfection systems for drinking and process water. The standard capacity is 6.000 m3/h. The systems are supplied with standard documentation to facilitate installation, operation and maintenance.
