Filtration is usually used to produce drinking water from underground sources. The required quality of drinking water is achieved in a pressure filter with individually composed layers of filter material, for example, to neutralize aggressive CO2, or to remove iron, manganese, ammonium and mechanical impurities.

In addition, filtration can also be used at the beginning, as a pretreatment, or at the end of a water treatment plant. Examples: recycled water, washing water, boiler water, cooling water, waste water and recarbonization.

The range Eurowater includes pressure filters for the removal of iron, manganese, ammonium, arsenic and suspended particles; activated carbon filters for the removal of pesticides, free chlorine, taste and odor; bag filters for use before other technologies, for example, to protect reverse osmosis plants, UV radiation or other membrane elements.
